Starting a Side Business is Hard, Geese are Involved!
So, it’s been a good long time since we have posted a video, but we’ve got a pretty sizable amount of content that’s going to be rolling out in the next few months. We’ve taken this time to get a little more focused, a little more organized, and to build up our side business.
Since we’ve last spoken, we’ve been extremely busy! Like non stop doing “stuff” and working our tails off while trying to survive unemployment. It’s been a rough season, one of the hardest we’ve ever been through. This video was recorded back in April. Which was kind of at the height of all the pressure and fear of where is my next paycheck coming from.
Praise the Lord, I finally got a job and started at the beginning of August.
A quick note about the video, I talk about my other channel that we haven’t really done anything on, and wanting to post more videos there, since recording this, that’s no longer the case. Clements Chronicles is the home for not just family and lifestyle content, but also talking about our video production business, Focus Video.
Regarding Focus Video, it is turning out to be a nice side business so far. It looks like we are a long way from making it our full time gig, but God has been good to us and brought in jobs at the right time. We’ve worked with about 5 clients so far and the projects have gone well!

I want to highlight the storage facility I worked with this year, that was the most rewarding experience of my life. Over the course of about 4 months we produced 7 videos at 6 different storage locations, by the third location all of the managers has started talking to each other and word had gotten out that “It’s OK if you’re nervous, Myke will make you feel comfortable.” I can’t think of a better compliment, except for maybe this from the owner of the company:

I was over the moon when this review came back and it further cemented in my mind that this was something I wanted to pursue. While we aren’t quite there yet, and I did eventually have to get a “real” job. I think we’re going to get there. So I would like to invite you along for the ride!
