Date Night Part 2: An Apartment Makeover

Myke and I had been wanting a coffee table for while now, but just hadn’t found the right one. From my last post you can see that we found the perfect one. It was a little beat up, but our plan was full proof. I had been wanting something chalkboard in our apartment since we got married. Myke in his infinite wisdom suggested that we paint the coffee table with chalkboard paint-that we make ourselves! Brilliant and super fun. To make it even better, since our door was purple from our last owner

We traveled to Home Depot and got the items we needed to make our own chalkboard paint and then headed home and started the process.
