Going with My Gut

I have been wanting a bubble necklace now for quite sometime. Just never had the courage to go ahead with the whole thing. In comes my mother-in-law for the win. This Christmas, it was like she read my mind. She knows I love scarves, so she got me the beautiful one that I’m wearing along with the necklace. When I opened my stocking, the necklace was in there and I was so excited. After we opened our stockings, Myke and I drove over to my parents house and I slipped on the necklace over the scarf, at the suggestion of my mother-in-law. How amazing does the necklace with this scarf look?! I thought it would look good with them layered on one another, but I didn’t have the nerve to try it, until my husband said I looked good. It’s funny how much a simple comment can change your whole perspective.

One thing I have decided to do in this new year is going with my gut more. When it comes to outfits, work, and speaking up. I have a hard time doing something like that because it is a risk and I’m afraid of what people are going to think. Life shouldn’t be lived that way, and I want to change that.
