Let’s Have Coffee
If I had you over for coffee, I would open my loud squeaking door and great you with a hug. I’m a firm believer in hugs and I love giving them. I make sure that the coffee is made before you get here because then it would smell incredible when you walked in. After you get comfortable on our chocolate brown couch, I would get the pot of coffee, vanilla creamer, and Splenda and get ready for our chat.
I would tell you about my two terrible days at work. You know how there are some days where it just feels like things just go wrong? I had two days of that in a row. It was quite the Monday and Tuesday. I would then go on to say how excited I was to be home on Tuesday night, however while driving home my tire shredded. I cried in the cry until Myke and Pastor Jeff came and picked me up, and we went and got a tire. It was an eventful night that’s for sure. This doughnut was well deserved.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you how excited I am that fall is almost here. I absolutely love fall, the way the air smells, the crispness in the air, leaves crunching under your boots. I don’t get much of my fall in LA, but I always look forward to going to Sac and feeling the Delta breeze brush my face.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you how much I miss my husband during the week. He started school again and he gets up early in the morning and goes to the gym, then by the time I get home he is pretty tired. We don’t have much time together, but we make the room where we can. One of those areas is at the gym-we started going to his school gym. Trying to look good for Taylor and Niana’s wedding
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I love having times like these with people I care about. Spending quality time with people is important for the soul. I would tell you how much I appreciate this time and how much more often this needs to happen. Also it’s always a good time to eat cupcakes.
If we were having coffee, what would we talk about?
