June 2014 Birchbox Review
I have had zero time on my hands to make a video this week to review my Birchbox, and I’m super bummed. Plus my family is coming into town this weekend so I will probably have even less time on my hands, but in a totally good way. I love when I see my family, even though it keeps me busy. Anyway, my June 2014 Birchbox was great and perfect for me breaking the norm when it comes to my normal beauty routine. This month’s theme is Away We Go, all about traveling, which I love!
Highlight: Love Smoothing Shampoo. In my last video I had expressed that I wasn’t the biggest fan of getting shampoo samples because I was a little weary about using another shampoo. Normally I use Kenra and it is awesome, but this shampoo is a smoothing shampoo and I have trouble with frizz. I decided to give it a try once and it was amazing! I loved it, I have already thought about purchasing one soon from the Birchbox store.
Disappointment: There really wasn’t a disappointment in this box. I’m going to be honest, the lip stain isn’t that exciting, but it’s nice. I think because I have so many different lip stains that I’m at the stage where whenever I get one, it’s kind of like “Oh another one…”
Surprise: I was surprised by the Falle de Joie perfume sample. I usually don’t like perfume samples, but when I tried this one, I liked it! Maybe it has to do with my new look on beauty products and clothes. Perfume is starting to get my attention a little bit.
This month Birchbox paired up with JetBlue this month to give us the chance to win a trip! I can only dream of that happening for me. We got to take a little quiz to see where we would end up. I landed on New York, which is not a surprise because I have been wanting to go there ever since I can remember. My second choice was Chicago. I’ve never been there, but always been intrigued by the windy city. My third would be Portland. We went on our honeymoon there and it would be fun to go back.

If you had a free trip, where would you go?
