Myke and I love The Biggest Loser. That show is just so inspiring to get off your butt and work out. Which is what I need to do. Myke and I usually worked out and then watched the show on Hulu. It’s nice to have a little inspiration.
Since I have two weddings in September, one wedding I’m actually in, so I took it as an inspiration to get toned. Not lose weight, I’m not into the whole get super skinny thing. I personally believe that weight loss will come once you get your body toned. My main problem is I need to get off my butt and start working out.
I have been wanting to try Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred for a while now. Once I saw Chelsea over at Sunny with a Chance of Sprinkles go for it, it inspired me to express to Myke that I wanted it. He surprised me one day by coming home with the DVD and some 2 pound weights to use in the video.
I have done about 5 days and I have loved it. I have sweated my butt off and have really enjoyed the workout. I like that it’s short, yet very active. My body hates me, but it’s a good pain. It makes me feel stronger.
I’m not really working on losing weight, I want to be more toned and feel better about myself. Even though I have been doing it for a short time, I have seriously felt good about myself. I feel stronger and I may be tired all the time, but my body is getting stronger every day.
