It’s My 2.0

Remember a while ago when I posted about trying to be a better version of me and I said that I had gotten the inspiration from my awesome pastor? Well it turns out, it’s also our annual theme at our church for the year 2016. God is calling not only our church (and individually) into a time of renew, renewing our faith, passion, and dreams that he has called us to. Becoming newer versions of ourselves, the people called has called us to be. For our annual theme, it’s the yearly focus meaning that there are sermons that focus on the theme through out the year. Coming back from our leadership retreat, I really did feel renewed and refreshed, as did Myke. We have already talked about things that we will be doing to renew those dreams that we have for us individually and as a couple.

One of my versions of becoming at better version of myself was being more positive, especially when it came to my work life. I have been a temp in my position for the past year, I have loved it-but it has been a little bit of a struggle for me personally. I love what I do and I adore the people I work with, but I knew on paper I wasn’t a part of the team. I’m very excited to say that I have been officially made permanent, with all the benefits and vacation days and all I can say is thank God for waiting for this long. He knew exactly when I needed it. During this time I have learned to work with my team, become better at my job and more confident, and I’m so excited to be an official employee at the company I’m at.
