Grown Up

In the past few months I have realized that I’m grown up.

I’m 24 years old, married, and I work for a company that I would love to grow in. In order to grow in my career, I feel like I should grow up in general. I know it sounds strange to talk about it now at 24 years old, but it was on my mind the other day. Growing up sometimes is difficult to wrap our minds around, I always thought I would wake up one morning and I would all of a sudden feel older and more mature. Maybe after I was married, maybe after I had a kid, I don’t know.

Until that time, I like to look up to certain women who can help me focus on growing up, maybe with helping me dress more mature, act more mature. So I have the perfect lady in mind to help with that.

Who better to help, but the English.

I present, my role model when it comes to growing up, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Or Kate.

Love this woman. I loved her before she married William. She has a lot of the same features as me, so it’s logical she would be my role model, right?

Especially when it comes to the way she dresses. No I’m not talking about her amazingly awesome gowns and dresses she wears, no way I could pull those off or wear them the way she does. I’m talking about when she dresses like a normal person, for lack of a better name.

Here are some of my favorites, courtesy of my Pinterest board.

If I ever get the beautiful chance to meet this woman, I would be so excited and so humbled. I know this is highly unlikely, but a girl can have a dream can’t she? Tea with her. Yes, that will do just fine.
