DIY Baby Gift
No I’m not having a baby. A lovely couple at my church, Anthony and Gabby just welcomed a bouncing baby boy. They had been praying for another child for a while now and when they found out it was a boy, they were overjoyed. We were invited to a baby shower for them a couple weeks back and I thought it would be a really cute idea to make a little basket of goodies for them. I don’t have too many friends having kids, but throughout the past couple years, many women have given me some advice for when I have a kid. The gifts that I have found to be the best, besides something off the registry (if there is one) are 1. onsies 2. diapers and 3. socks.
I had thought about what to get them for a while and knew they were going to be getting all of those things since this was not their first child. Where else to turn but Pinterest. I’ve been trying to use Pinterest a little bit more in my life, I mean I have all these ideas, I might as well use them. One of the first things that popped up was a little bath kit. I thought this would be an interesting gift for them, a little different, but still giving them things they would need for the baby. It fit in our budget and I was able to give them a simple, but thought out gift. I used tissue paper that was left over from Christmas. Everything else was from Target and the print outs come from the blog.
