Card by Minted

I love handmaking cards. Since I’m married to a gentleman who enjoys using the computer, making cards on the computer is just as awesome. Last December, I really wanted to do a Christmas card. We didn’t do one the year before and I think it’s a nice idea to do one as kind of an update.

For inspiration, I went to Pinterest (where else?) and found Kelsey. One of the best things about finding things on Pinterest, most of the time you find amazing blogs along with fun advice. Well I was lucky to come across The Words of Williams. They are Eric and Kelsey, an adorable couple with the cutest baby named Rooney.

They used a website called Minted.

This was their original card. I liked the design so much I emailed Kelsey to ask if it would be all right to use her design. I got the go ahead, and this is what we came up with.

You may regonize it from my post about it being a New Years card. I loved the “year-in-review” design and they had different colors to choose from, but Myke and I love our blue. If I had to pick one thing that I really liked about Minted was the paper they used. I know that sounds funny, but now that I’m starting to get a little more into card making, I like the paper that was used. It was thick white card stock which I love.

I loved working with Minted! Their website is easy to use and fun to design with. Myke did the finishing touches to the card as well as the actual ordering  and he said it was one of the best sites he has ever worked on and he’s worked on a few. Plus their shipping was quick, considering it was right around Christmas time. I was very impressed with my overal experience with them. I’m looking forward to using their designs many times in the future.

Needless to say, if I ever need any cards made on the internet, I will go with them, no questions asked.
