Banana Bread (+ recipe)
My mom does a lot of baking around the holidays. My all time favorite thing my mom makes is banana bread. I think it’s the smell of banana and when it’s combined with coffee or tea-it’s a delightful snack in the middle of the day or even a quick breakfast.
What you will need:
2-3 very ripe bananas, peeled
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup of flour
Oven: 350
Mash bananas in mixing bowl until completely smooth. Stir in melted butter. Mix in baking soda and salt. Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix in flour. Pour batter into pan-be sure to butter it before!
Bake: 50 minutes
When it’s ready, I let it cool for about 30 minutes and then I take it out of the pan to completely cool.
