Abnormal Wednesday Morning
This morning was going to be a weird morning.
Myke had to go to the DMV to get a California license. He had an appointment for 9:10am and we set off, ready to get this whole thing over with.
We got there and there was a long line. I know what you’re thinking, long line at the DMV, crazy. We stood in the line and then we were let in and we witnessed something only a few people ever see.
An empty DMV. It was glorious. However, that was short lived as people began swarming in.
I sat and read Redeeming Love for about 20 minutes and Myke came out with a big smile on his face. He had passed the test, he only missed 4! Which is awesome!
We went and got some breakfast and then I dropped him off at work. He was a happy camper and I’m now at home enjoying my day off with a little cleaning and Law and Order SVU and maybe some MasterChef.
On another note, my new Gussy Sews headband came! I’m so excited I wore it to the DMV.

The Management
I found myself in an empty driver licensing center once… it was so glorious to be there alone when I’d expected crazy lines!

That happened to me when I was changing my name! There were so few people in there that I hit up two banks and my credit card company in the same chunk of time, just because I was done so fast and didn’t want to waste the hour I had off work!
