Thanksgiving 2013
Our Thanksgiving was absolutely beautiful. We had been waiting for this mini vacation for such a long time, it was welcomed with open arms. So much happened during the week and about 200 pictures were taken, so we have to split it up into a few different posts.
Part One…Thanksgiving day
I flew out on Monday night and then Tuesday was spent with my grandma. My grandma is the best, we went out and had a nice lunch together and then I went home and started my long wait until Myke got there. Myke had to stay another day due to school and he drove up super late on Tuesday. Once he was there, it was time for fun!
Wednesday was a special day for me. It was the day that I got to see m best friend, Shannon. She lives in Washington with her husband Colin and it would be an understatement to say that I missed her a lot. I was so happy to be in the same place as her, I just talked with her and soaked in my time with her. It was nice that Myke and Colin got to spend some time talking as well.
Thanksgiving day we did Run to Feed the Hungry. We ran the 5k with my dad and we ran the whole way so we were very proud. Taylor (Myke’s brother) and his girlfriend went with us as well. It was our first time meeting her so we were excited to get to know her. After we were all done running, we went to the Clements side first and had lunch there and played Russian Rummy. After that we were on our way to my side of the family for dinner/second turkey meal. We collapsed after that to get ready for Black Friday in San Fran! Come back tomorrow!
