September Birchbox

I feel so out of character for not writing a review about last month’s Birchbox, but time just got away from me. However, this month I’m ready to go with September’s box. This one was a good one! I’m not sure if I have ever mentioned this, but Birchbox has a theme every single month.

September theme: Heritage.

Amika, Blow Up Spray. I have gotten a sample from this line before a few months ago and I really enjoyed it. When I heard in the sneak peek video, I was really excited and secretly hoped that I would get it in my box. I’ve been intrigued by the idea of blow out hair spray. It helps with fly away hairs, which is a problem for me most of the time, especially after the shower.

Caudalie, Hand and Nail Cream. Let’s face it, no matter what job you are in, you need some type of lotion for your hands. This one will come in handy for me because I like doing weekly manicures. It smells good to me, reminds me of a green tea scent, typically I would like a fruity smell, but I like this too. It also helps with antiaging. After working at a spa, many co workers would tell me that it is never too early to start helping with that.

Mally Beauty, Volumizing Mascara. I’m not one to try too many different mascaras. Simply because I believe that when I find the one that suits me, I stick with it. It took me a lot to switch from the mascara brand all though high school (Maybelline, Great Lashes, the pink and green bottle) to the one I use now (Maybelline Rocket). Sounds silly but true. However I have been trying new things for a while now and so I was rather excited when I saw this one in my box. I wore it to work the day after I got my box and I really like it! No clumps which is always amazing and it goes on smooth too. Love!

Ruggian, Nail Lacquer-Hedge Fund. I saw the nail colors on the Birchbox website and I loved them already. I saw this green and I actually thought it would be really pretty for a fall color. I was super excited that I got this green! I would love to get more.

Voesh New York, Lemon Pedicure Masque. It was like Birchbox was reading my mind! I am on my feet all day for tours and I have been looking for something to make my feet feel better. I love this stuff! It smells amazing and I will definitely be buying more!
