Old McClements Went to a Farm

When my parents went to an event this past week, one of the attendees told them about this little farmers market/farm about 15 minutes from our house called Soil Born Farms at American River Ranch. It’s a sweet piece of land that gives a little taste of farm life. They have a lot of crops and flowers, which are fun to look at. They also sell a lot of produce and other items like honey and herbs.

Myke and I have been talking about where we see ourselves in the next few years and we have always thought having  little garden of veggies and even some flowers would be really nice. Even though OJ was super tired and fell asleep about 10 minutes in, we still had a really nice time. If you are in the Sacramento area, I would highly recommend this special place. It is open from 8-12:30 every Saturday until November.
