Lowepro BP 250 AW II – Review
I have been looking and looking for a new camera bag. I have visited all of the local camera shops, read countless reviews online looking and hoping to find the perfect camera bag. One with enough room for what I need for Sunday mornings, Focus Video shoots, and for walking around and Vlogging with Allison.
I finally pulled the trigger on a new bag as a birthday present to myself from myself. Specifically this one:
Let me tell you why the Lowepro Fastpack BP 250 is the perfect bag for me. For my camera bag needs, I need to be able to pack up three specific configurations of gear. I need a Sunday morning pack that consists of:
- Canon SL2
- Canon M50
- Feelworld Monitor
- 2 Sony NPF Batteries
- 2 Batteries for Canon SL2
- 2 Batteries for Canon M50
- Monitor ARM
- SD Cards
- Canon 85mm f/1.8 Lens
- Tamron 18-200mm Lens
- 6th Generation iPad
- 15” Macbook Pro
- 2 2TB External Harddrives
- White Balance Cards
I also need to ad a few things for vlogging and Focus Video production such as:
- Canon 50mm Lens
- Canon 10-18mm Lens
- Canon EF-M 22mm lens
Step Up Rings- 2 ND Filters
- Mavic Pro w/3 batteries and remote
- Headphones
So I need to be able to pack a considerable amount of gear into one bag and feel secure. I believe I have found that with this bag. The iPad and MacBook Prof fit perfectly in the dedicated sleeves, I have plenty of room for my lenses and camera bodies in the main camera compartment, as well as the top “free space” compartment.
Allison and I took it out to an Oakland A’s game for my birthday and it worked perfectly for the day, I had easy access to my main camera and the chest and waist straps helped take some of the weight off of my back and make for a comfortable experience.
I love this bag and have been using it as my general daily driver for work, even when I’m not crying any camera gear.
If you’re looking for a camera bag, I highly recommend this one!
