Labor Day Weekend

There is something about having a long weekend that just puts a new perspective on life. This weekend was going to be a long weekend anyway, but my job gave us an extra day off. Friday I slept in and relaxed in the morning, but I spent the whole day cleaning. In a way it was extremely relaxing. Our home was a mess, so having a day to clean made me feel a lot better. Once Myke was home from work, we hopped in the car and drove to Solvang, CA to meet up with Mom and Dad. They treated us to a weekend of great food and fun. Every time I spend a good amount of time with family, it makes me miss living close to them. I’m glad I was able to spend a little time them in a very fun place.
