July Birchbox Review

Well we finally got our jammed mailbox door open and of course my Birchbox was in there. I was excited to see what was in this Birchbox, especially after seeing the video that they released before they sent the box out. Those videos have been super helpful, even if I don’t get the item in the box, which I admit is kinda a bummer I can’t get everything, it still makes me more aware of the things I could potentially buy. That’s pretty awesome as well.

Birchbox, Bobby Pins. I wear bobby pins every day of my life and I’m glad that these are sturdy and colorful, then I can actually see them on the freaking floor!! They are so sturdy I really only need one to hold all my bangs back. I will be buying more. Fact.

Birchbox + Color Club, Nail Polish, Color: London Calling. How perfect that I got this the day before the little baby was born! Such perfect timing on Birchbox’s part because I know that’s totally what they were going for 🙂 Plus it looks like a fun color and I love me some green. Looks cute for summer and spring.

Caudalie, Divine Legs. I have to admit I’m intrigued by this product. I’m going to a few weddings in the coming weeks so a quick tan is going to be helpful. I mean it’s only a sample, but it will still be nice to have some on my legs and my horrible HORRIBLE shoe tan from work. Trust me-it’s bad.

ModelCo, Party Proof Lipstick, Color: Peony. I’ve been trying lipsticks like I told you in my last review. This one is a nice solid red. Again, I put it on as soon as I saw it. I may need a little more confidence when it comes to me wearing lipstick. It’s mostly about feeling confident right? I gotta work on that a little bit.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream. Another product that I’m interested in. It’s all about repairing skin and providing hydration for your skin. I would say that’s my biggest “issue” with my skin. So I perk up any time some talks about hydrating the skin. I’m exited to give this a try. I think my only complaint would be it’s not tinted. I would need a little tint in my moisturizer just because I feel like I need it, but I may be wrong, we will see.
