Blog,  Let's Stay at Home

Goodbye Weekend.

This weekend was a nice relaxing one. I had a laundry list of things to day, which ironically including laundry. When Saturday came and I was getting ready to tackle my list, the first thing was go to Marshall’s and get some things for the tea that my church is hosting in a couple weeks. Myke went with me and on our way home I was telling him about my list I wanted to complete. When we got home, he told me he wanted me to sit on the couch and rest. To give you a tiny insight about me, I don’t do a good job of relaxing a lot of the time, especially when I have a list of things I’m really wanting to accomplish. We got home and he made me sit on the couch, got some water (my throat has been bothering me all weekend), and had me just relax. He did as well and I have to say it was what I needed. Sunday I was able to get a lot of the things I wanted to get done, which is still a good thing.

Friday night we witnessed the amazing sight that was Guardians of the Galaxy. If you have not seen this movie, I’m telling you right now, cancel all of you plans tonight and go see it. It has action, humor, and a whole lot of heart. I was so satisfied with the film, we saw it with some fun friends and Myke got his fill of science fiction. He has had a little science fiction hole shape in his heart for about a week now and he got his fill and he was beyond happy.

Myke got his first birthday present on Sunday. A turntable and John Mayer’s Born and Raised vinyl. He is one happy camper and his hands are pinning for some more vinyl. We also decided what we wanted to do for his birthday this weekend.

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. Have a beautiful Monday and here’s to a new week!
