Dear Diary
via Izola. |
I look back on those days and think about how much I loved doing that. I would read those entries and think about how silly I was to be happy that Luke Hanson said hi to me as we pass each other in the hall. Whenever we would go on big vacations, my mom would always have us write down in a travel journal where we went and what we did each day. She said we would read it when we were older and think about all the good times we had together. She was 100% right.
I love to write. I don’t necessarily want to be a writer, I just like doing it in my spare time. Hence the blog. However I wish I had a diary that I wrote in every night. There is something so touching about thinking about reading about my adventures later in my life. Writing about my hard times in my life, marriage, and in getting the job of my dreams. The people in my life at the time who helped me get through it all. The good and the bad. I want to remember it all.

I use my blog as my own personal diary. I hope one day when my children are older they can appreciate it. I print it off yearly and have it bound into a book for them.
