A Long Weekend + Birthday List + A Video
This weekend was a long weekend that was welcomed with open arms. This week at work has been non stop, simply because people move up meetings and all sorts of other things. Due to the Memorial weekend, Paramount graciously gives us an extra day off, so we get an extra extra long weekend. This weekend we took it easy. Saturday morning we skyped with the Clements clan, that night we had a worship night at church. Sunday was church all day, but Monday was glorious. We slept in, bought Myke a new office chair at the Hotel Surplus Outlet, and saw Mad Max: Fury Road. I always look forward to Memorial Day weekend because of two reason: 1. it’s a long weekend and 2. my birthday is the next weekend. I’ve always loved my birthday, I mean who hasn’t. I have fond memories of my birthdays from when I was young and even when I was older. One of my earliest memories of a birthday is when I was turning 5, my mom so cleverly came up with the idea of having me and my little friends paint aprons. Another memory is when I was 10 and my dad took me to my first Giants game.
My 25th year on earth is coming to a close and I have to admit, it’s a little scary. A lot has happened in this year, all very good things. As I was sitting thinking about my birthday, I started thinking about all these different things that I have learned in my life. Little things about make up or about food, things that I hope to pass on to my future children. So I decided to make a list of things that I have learned in my 25 years of life. I have a few different categories and I will be sharing them here during my last full week as a 25 year old woman.
To kick off my last week as a 25 year old, I have compiled a few things I wouldn’t mind getting for my birthday.
this from Grace and Lace just one of the many things I want from their website.
