I always loved embarrassing you on your birthday! So here you go 🙂 You are my best friend in the whole wide world and I don’t care who knows it. I remember being little and thinking I had the coolest best friend in the whole wide world. We have been though many different things together both good and bad. I love that we have though. It has made our friendship stronger.

I’m so glad we were able to go the same high school and graduate right after each other. That was a dream come true for me. A part of me wishes we had gone to the same college, but it just meant the holidays were sweeter because not only did I get to come home for the holidays, but I got to see you as well.

Can I tell you a secret?

On your wedding day, I cried on the way to the reception. I don’t know exactly why it was that time, but all of a sudden, it was like the light went off in a brain and reminded me that you were moving to another state. It hit me like a ton of bricks and I just lost it. All I kept saying to Myke was my best friend was official moving away. I wasn’t going to see her on holidays like we did during school. I don’t tell you this to have you feel sorry for me. I just thought you should know because that’s how much you mean to as a friend.
