P Dunes 2016

May is a month I always look forward to simply because of my family weekend. My dad’s side of the family has been doing this trip for so long, it feel weird to not go. I will be flying up on tonight to be with Mom and Dad. Myke will be driving up on Friday afternoon.

Family is a special thing that so many people take for granted. I’ve been thinking about how lucky I am to have the family that I have. Many people aren’t close to their family or don’t have a big family like I do. My family isn’t as big or close in location like many families, but I’m happy that we have weekends like this to be together, catch up with one another, and just be with one another. They are some of the handful of people I am myself and I don’t feel judged. They are the reason family means so much to me. I can’t wait to spend time with them and hold the new babies.
