It’s [still] a New Season

Last night I was reflecting about how Myke and I are going through this new season. Things have been changing and evolving and it’s a little overwhelming for me. Here are a few big changes that are happening in this household.

I officially put in my two weeks notice at work. Part of me is the super excited to start my new adventure at my new job, but I’m still a little scared and nervous for the change. Change still scares me even if it’s for the better.
Clements Media is in full swing. We don’t have any other clients other than ourselves, but the fact that we are putting ourselves out there is a big deal for both of us.
I’m still making cards for people, but I get a little nervous thinking about pleasing people with the cards I make. I’m a big people pleaser, so I just have to keep reminding myself that I can do it and it’s more for me than for other people.
The biggest and most current news in this household is that Myke applied to go back to school. He is going for a second bachelor’s in computer science. There has been a lot of prayer and thought that went into this decision and we decided to just go for it. We figured out how we were going manage it and we feel pretty good about this decision. Good thoughts and prayers will be appreciated during this time.
This song is by Israel Houghton and it has been our church’s theme this year. It has really been speaking to me and I hope it leaves you with a little inspiration.
It’s a new season, it’s a new day.
A fresh anointing is flowing my way.
It’s a season of power and prosperity.
It’s a new season coming to me.

The devil’s time is up no longer can he bother me,
‘cause the Creator of the universe He fathers me,
and it’s transferable my children’s children shall be free;
it’s a new season (it’s a new season).

All that was stolen is returned to you a hundred fold,
Tried in the fire but you’re coming out gold.
Cling to His hand,
yes, to every promise take a hold;
it’s a new season (it’s a new season)
