Celebration Weekend

When I was young I always pictured who I would marry. As strange as it sounds, I never thought I would marry someone like Myke. He is everything I wanted and more. God knew what he was doing when he put us together. I also have to thank God for blessing him with the amazing parents he has. Kim and Tim are one of a kind, both individually and as a couple. They are supportive, funny, loving, and faithful. You couldn’t ask for much more out of in laws. Not only have they touched their kids lives, but countless others as well. They started out as youth pastors, then singles pastors, and then moved up into associate then head pastor. Currently they are both doing one of the most noble jobs out there, teaching. They are still touching so many lives and they deserve all the celebration.

This weekend we are celebrating their 30 year wedding anniversary. Not only are we getting together as a family, but they are renewing their vows in the place that means so much to them, Pismo Beach. This place means everything to the Clements family. This is where Kim and Time honeymooned those 30 years ago, they took their family there for family vacation, and it’s where they took me when Myke and I were engaged. Now it’s the setting for their vow renewal, an event that means so much to our family and the journey my in laws have been on for the past few years.

So this weekend, we are heading to the beach for fun and celebration. Excitement doesn’t even begin to explain the feelings.
