Last Wednesday marked two years of being employed at Paramount Pictures. It’s hard to believe that it has been that long. It’s amazing how time flies.

When I was walking into work I wasn’t sure if I should celebrate or say anything. We don’t celebrate two years, I was given a gift for my one year and at three years you get another gift as well. Trust me, I really wasn’t expecting anything. A couple people told me congrats and said that they were happy that I wasn’t doing tours any more.

I have decided to focus on the good that has happened to me these two years:

-learned a lot of different things about offices and other things that I wouldn’t have learned elsewhere.

-met and seen famous people that I never would have seen.

-seen many movies for free in a beautiful theatre.

-worked on TV shows, an experience that many people would kill for.

-met many people that I will never see again, but most of them were so sweet I still remember them.

-Posters for my home.

-met and worked with AMAZING people.

That last one meant the most to me. One of the biggest reasons I left my old job was because of the way I was treated by a few people. Even though this job is a low level position, after I have proven myself, I received a lot of respect that now is paying off. Even though my contract is done, my boss is keeping me on in the office. I’m going to continue to look for another job, maybe one a little closer to my home, but I’m waiting now. Waiting to see where I need to be. I think my answer to my call to God is, Wait. I’m not forgotten, just being watched over.
