Weekend Thoughts

Sometimes I get a little sad I don’t take a lot of pictures, but then I remember that I’m living more in the moment. This weekend was one of those weekends. On Saturday, when we usually sit on the couch all day and watch TV. This Saturday we got together with one of our favorite couples. Myke went to coffee with the husband and I went to Downtown LA with the wife and kids to look for some items for the church. When we got back I snapped this pictures. To most people this picture doesn’t look like much and just looks like another picture of food. To me this picture shows love. My friend made me lunch, an act of service that means so much. This special friend is also a mother and with Mother’s Day yesterday, it made me think about how thankful I am for my mom and the other moms that have influenced my life.
