The Good Things That Happened This Weekend

Even though yesterday’s post seemed like it was not the best weekend, but a couple good things happened this weekend that made me smile and feel better.

Our annual church leadership retreat was this weekend. This is the time when we go and spend time together and concentrate about our theme for the year. This year is: We Will Worship. I’m so beyond excited and I’m so glad that I was able to go and learn even though I wasn’t feeling the best. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us this year both for our family and for the church family.

Also this weekend was my sister in law’s birthday, I wish I was close to her to take her out and treat her the way she deserved to be treated. However, he mommy was back in town and her husband treated her well. I hope that one day I will be bale to celebrate with her on her actual day, but until then, I will wish her all the happiness from far away. Plus her wedding pictures are stunning!
