Myke & Allison

Myke and I met in 2009 through a mutual friend. We were nervous to talk to one another because we liked each other right away. After about a month, they went on their first “date” (Myke will say it’s a date and I would say it wasn’t), then Myke asked me out on an official date-dinner and a movie.

A couple months later, I left to study abroad in Australia and Myke had plans to study in our semester in the mountains. We had made the plans before we even met, so before we left we had THE TALK, Myke wanted to stay together and I wanted nothing more to be with him. We dated long distance and let me tell you, that day in July when he picked me up from the airport in Arizona to meet his family, I didn’t want to let him go.

November 21, 2010. We went to the London West Hollywood to celebrate our two year anniversary. I got him a comic book and he got me an engagement ring.

November 19, 2011. We got married in Sacramento, CA. We honeymooned in Portland, Oregon and then moved to LA and made a life for ourselves.

September 28, 2017 we welcomed our first baby. A little girl, Olivia Jo Clements. We spent 39 days in the NICU due to her having underdeveloped lungs, but we brought her home and she has been healthy ever since.

Early 2018, God spoke to both Myke and myself and said that something was going to happen in our lives. Little did we know there were two big events happening. We moved to Sacramento-Myke lived here for 9 years before moving to the Bay Area and I was born and raised here.

November 15, 2018 we welcomed our second baby, another girl, Meghan Joy Clements. Our family is complete with this cuddle bug.

We are rediscovering Sacramento all the while figuring out how to do life as a young family.
