My Nerd, the Husband
We all know my husband Myke. We all know how awesome he is.
Well he is going to be the star of a series that I’m going to start.
My Nerd, the Husband. The idea with this series is that I talk about my husband and his cool obsession with the world of comics and other nerd items. He is into comics such as Superman and Batman. He also loves other things like Star Wars, Halo and Watchmen.
What better way to start out this series by interviewing the man himself…
What made you get into comics?
I had always been interested in comics growing up but I didn’t really get into them until my friends and I had a Big Bang Theory marathon. It was suggested that we go visit a comic book store, we found one and I was hooked.
What is your favorite story?
I would have to say that my favorite story would have to be Batman: The Black Mirror. It’s a really interesting story from one of my favorite authors. Whats I like best is the story focuses on Commissioner Gordon.
What is your favorite thing about comics?
My favorite thing about comics is the vast history many of the characters have. Also there is something for everyone, if you like murder mysteries, straight up science fiction, romantic comedies, or horror there is a comic for you.
If you could be a superhero, who would you be?
I would probably want to be Superman, even though Batman is my favorite character. I like the idea of being impervious to danger and being able to fly.

Hahaha well thank you on all counts 🙂 Actually, believe it or not, about 97% of his comic collection is independent titles. He always says, the weirder the better 🙂
