Lips

Lips are one of my favorite things to buy items for. Your lips can be the simplist thing on your face or it can be bright and bold. I just love the idea of having different looks for your lips. I used to hate lipstick. I didn’t like the way it tasted, I tend to bite my lips a lot. I guess I have grown up a little bit because my lipstick collection is starting to grow. I don’t have any expensive lip goodies yet. I only just started my collection, so it has a lot of growing to do. These our are my absolute favorites.

tokyo milk lip blam “let them eat cake”. The latest edition to my lip collection. I bought this after seeing this was in a special edition box that I wasn’t able to receive. They have two other flavors, but I can’t resist anything having to do with cake. It smells amazing and if goes on my lips smoothly and sheer. It may make you want cake-fair warning!

nivia lip balm. I got this in a special edition of a Birchbox called the Finds Box. This thing makes me lips the softest any lip balm has ever done. You can find them in your local drug store. I received a sheer color in my Birchbox, I purchased a crimson color. I like it because it adds a tiny bit of color without the heaviness of lipstick or stain. Next I think I’ll try the coral.

rimmel kate lipstick color 12. I have been looking for this lipstick for a while now. I saw it on Aubrey’s blog (in this post) and I have been wanting to snag it ever since. I finally got it and I have been wearing it just about every day. It’s somewhat close to my lip color and it smells good. I’m a fan of the smell of lipstick, so not having it smell like it helps.

rimmel kate lipstick color 111. I bought this lipstick a year ago and I was really nervous about wearing it. I wasn’t big on lipstick when I bought it, but I wanted to take a risk and try it. I was told to only wear it when I feel confident in wearing it. I wore it around the house alone a couple times and then I wore it in SF over Thanksgiving and that’s when I really fell in love with it.
