Pretty Nails

Mom always smiled when I would bring out my nail polish basket when I was young. I was always painting my nails in patterns, crazy colors, and I did it at least a few times a month. I love having my nails painted. Just like when I was young, I have a massive nail polish collection. When we first got married, I thought Myke was going to think I had an addiction problem with the amount of nail polish I have. I can’t help it, they are all so pretty. Luckily he smiles just like Mom did. Sunday night, my friend Ellie came over and she had mentioned she wanted to paint her toenails. I asked what color she was thinking about and proceeded to bring out only half of my stash. My top three polish picks are Essie, Color Club, and Julep. Essie can be found in any drug store, Color Club I get from Birchbox, and Julep I get from their website. Essie has solid prices all around and their color pallet is unlimited beauty, Color Club has a great color selection (especially for summer), and Julep is the most expensive. They go for about $14/polish, however with that being said their sales are one of the best I have seen. My friend bought about 8 for $2 a piece, that’s when I get them. They are amazing quality and they have some fun colors to choose from.

^a favorite from each brand^

I have only attempted to do special designs on my own a few times in my life. I have been thinking about trying some nail wraps. I’ve heard their awesome, I just haven’t found the right design I want. When I have time, I would love to sit down and attempt to try fun designs, like I did when I was young, and nail wraps. It just takes a lot of patience and for some designs time, maybe for an upcoming girls night (*cough cough* I’m looking at you Nancy). Again, Pinterest is the best place for inspiration, here are three designs that in my opinion look divine.
