Oh Joy! Book Party

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to go to a book party hosted by West Elm in LA for Joy Cho’s new book, Oh Joy. If you do not know who this woman is, you are seriously missing out. I have been following her blog, Oh Joy! for some time now. She not only has amazing food and decor ideas, but she has two beautiful daughters and she does great activities and crafts with them. Plus she is based here in LA, which makes me love her even more. Since I didn’t want to go alone, I called up a great friend of mine and avid blog reader, Rachel. Needless to say, we had a blast catching up with one another, getting the book, meeting Joy (!) and having her sign my book, and of course eating delicious ice cream from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. We have both had stressful weeks both at work and personally, so this event couldn’t have come at a better time. Thanks for hosting West Elm and thank you Joy for writing a beautiful book and for inspiring me every day! I can’t wait to spread the joy.
