Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is in full swing. Peppermint Oreos, winter dream lattes, even red cup debates means Christmas is coming up fast. I’m usually not a big fan of anything Christmas before Thanksgiving just because I love the idea of Thanksgiving-fall, food, and family-a perfect combo! Ever since college, I’ve lightened up a little bit. I still don’t allow Christmas music to be played until we are done eating our turkey and pie. Last year it dawned on me, we are so busy during the holidays, sometimes we miss the decorating part, which isn’t the main reason for the season, but it definitely is a fun one. I decided to decorate a couple weekends ago before Thanksgiving and it turned out so well! Now every night, I turn off our main lights and turn on our beautiful white Christmas lights, so magical!
