Celebrating 30 Years

I’m blessed that I have both my parents and my in laws that have been together over 30 years. Last weekend, my in laws celebrated their 30 year anniversary in style. For those of you who do not know my in laws, they are simply amazing. Ever since I have known them they have been loving and caring. I was so excited for the weekend-not only did I get to see my family, but I get to celebrate two people that I have touched so many lives. I wasn’t able to take too many pictures on my own phone-but thank goodness everyone else did. These pictures were taken by me, Myke, and by Myke’s aunt, Kris.

My favorite part of the whole day was my father in law reproposed to my mother in law. He was able to surprise her with a beautiful new ring and propose to her all over again. It was a very touching moment and one that our family will always remember. We also had a family prayer time that was a beautiful moment between us. We all sang the song They Try by Rascal Flats and did a choreographed dance that mostly consisted of us laughing at ourselves. It was an amazing day that will live in our family history forever.

To Kim and Tim, thank you for being the most wonderful in laws any girl could want. You have given me so many things, but above all you gave me the best gift, my husband. I know it hasn’t always been easy, but you gave me someone whom I cannot imagine life without. Thank you for raising the man of my dreams. I’m glad you are a part of the package.
