4th of July 2015

It’s been a while since I have written on this good ole blog. However a lot has happened over the past week that is going to be wonderful for our family. I’m excited to share them with you, but before I do, let’s talk about the 4th of July. What a great weekend to be an American. Not only do we celebrate the birth of our country, but the ladies soccer team won the World Cup. Awesome!

This weekend, my parents came into town for a little visit. I had work off Thursday and Friday, so they came in on Friday night and took me to dinner. Saturday we went to the Getty and the Getty Villa. I was super excited, I’m one of those people who love museums. Whenever we went on any big trip, we always made an effort to go to a museum. When we were in Europe, we went to about every museum we could and did the same for D.C. So I can cross this off the LA bucket list. We took some pictures while we were there and they really don’t capture the beauty of all the art.
